Childcare Fees & Costs
Our service provides high quality childminding and pre-school education services in-line with the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework, led by a qualified Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner.
Our goal is to help children to thrive emotionally, socially and physically, and to support the three prime areas of learning; Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
As such, we aim to give children a strong head-start, so that they are more than ready for school when that time comes.

Funded Hours
In addition to full-time care at our standard rates, we are also able to offer parents spaces that benefit from the various government funded childcare hours schemes.
For more information about these schemes, eligibility and how to apply, see our dedicated page.
Our Operating Hours
We are open from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, offering full-day, part-day and wrap-around care.
Within our setting, we aim to offer a consistent educational path for the children in our care. To achieve this, we ask for children to attend for a minimum of two sessions per week, which should be consecutive, so that we can build upon their progress, and they can experience as much of the full range of topics and activities that we will be offering. This also enables children to develop a consistent routine, allowing them to settle, make friends, and gain the most from the sessions we provide for them.
While we charge an hourly, standard rate, our core hours are from 09:00 to 15:00, in-line with core school hours. Activities will continue both before and after these times, but during these core hours we will be pursuing the main educational and inspirational topics of the week, as well as key activities both indoors, outdoors, and in other locations. Please do come and discuss your needs with us however, as there is always flexibility.
Hourly Rates
See our Funded Hours Guide for full details of how we offer these as part of our service. In summary however;
Funded hours are provided between 09:00 and 15:00, in-line with core school hours. Any hours outside of these times will be charged at our standard rate. In addition, we “stretch” the 38 weeks of funded hours over the 47 weeks we are open, in order to provide a consistent expectation of costs and simplify budgeting and holiday cover for parents.
If you are using funded hours, we will subtract the funded hours from the total number of hours your child attends each week, with any additional hours being charged at the standard rate.
As of September 2026, our standard hourly rate is £9.50 / hour for each hour not covered by funded hours.
Wrap-around care will be charged at the standard hourly rate unless your child is under 5 and you have unused funded hours.
